John Paul II Post-Doctoral Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences (FASS) at the Angelicum, in collaboration with the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences (PASS), to support research in Catholic Social Teaching (CST) and data-driven social analysis.
Scholarship Overview
Five scholarships are available from October 2025 to June 2026 in Rome. Scholars will conduct joint and independent research on how the Church's social mission strengthens civil society.

Eligibility
- Doctorate in Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Ethics, Management, Political Science, or related fields
- Interest in Catholic Social Teaching and practical social action
- Minimum English proficiency (B2 level)
- Strong quantitative research skills preferred

- June - September 2025: Online preparatory meetings
- October 2025: Scholars arrive in Rome
