來自馬來西亞砂拉越的留台同學會總會長和領袖幹部代表團蒞臨中華大學,實地考察學校校園環境並參觀了AI體驗中心以及藝文中心。中華大學副校長解鴻年和餐旅管理學系專任副教授陳堯鈴博士等學校代表熱情接待了訪客。 此次參訪團對中華大學在人工智慧領域的先進成就表示高度讚譽。解鴻年副校長表示,中華大學有意在砂拉越地區開設課程,並且不排除在馬來西亞砂拉越設立學分班,以便讓留學海青班學生回國後能夠繼續升學。這一舉措將有助於深化台灣和馬來西亞之間的教育合作,同時也提供更多升學和學習機會。 陳堯鈴則表示,目前餐旅管理學系已經開始進行課程整合,並結合國際觀光與酒店管理雙學士學位,以培育更全面的學生。這個整合計劃將為學生提供更多多元的學習體驗,增強他們在餐旅業和觀光行業的競爭力。 這次的參訪活動不僅加強了台灣和馬來西亞之間的教育交流,還為未來的合作奠定了堅實的基礎。中華大學將繼續致力於推動國際學術合作,為學生提供更廣闊的學術和職業發展機會。

Malaysian Sarawakian Students' Association in Taiwan Commends Chung Hua University for AI Advancements
The President and leaders of the Malaysian Sarawakian Students' Association in Taiwan, representing a delegation from Sarawak, Malaysia, visited Chung Hua University to conduct an on-site inspection of the campus environment and toured the AI Experience Center and Arts Center. The delegation received a warm welcome from representatives of Chung Hua University, including Vice President Dr. Hsieh, Hung-Nien and Dr. Chen, Yaoling, Associate Professor in the Department of Hospitality Management.
During the visit, the delegation expressed high praise for Chung Hua University's advanced achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. Vice President Dr. Hsieh, Hung-Nien indicated that Chung Hua University intends to introduce courses in the Sarawak region and is considering the possibility of establishing credit-based programs in Sarawak to enable international students to continue their studies upon returning to their home country. This initiative aims to deepen educational cooperation between Taiwan and Malaysia, providing more opportunities for higher education and learning.
Dr. Chen, Yaoling mentioned that the Department of Hospitality Management has already initiated curriculum integration, combining International Tourism and Hotel Management into a dual bachelor's degree program to cultivate more well-rounded students. This integration plan will offer students a more diverse learning experience and enhance their competitiveness in the hospitality and tourism industries.
This visit not only strengthened educational exchanges between Taiwan and Malaysia but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Chung Hua University remains committed to promoting international academic cooperation and providing students with broader academic and career development opportunities.
