Important notice from the Academic Affairs Office

Master and Doctoral Thesis Degree Examination:

1. All degree examinations this semester will be conducted by video. The oral examination process should be recorded and taped throughout. Students are exempt from returning to school to take the examination. Each department should notify teachers and students of the need for oral examinations for the semester to plan as soon as possible.

2. Oral test time: According to the calendar plan, it still needs to be conducted before 7/31.

3. Deadline for the submission of the original postgraduate thesis: The deadline is 8/31 according to the calendar plan.

4. When applying for graduation oral examinations for masters and doctors, all departments should announce their own application rules to teachers and students.

Final exam for fresh graduates:

1. Time: 5/30-6/5, each teacher will handle it remotely (the teacher should inform the students of the way the final exam is held, and if there is any change in the evaluation method, the students must also be aware of it).

2. Input time for teachers' grades: 5/31-6/10.

3. Input time for teachers' late grades: 6/21-6/30.

General final exam:

1. Time: 6/20-6/26, all lecturers will be conducted remotely (the lecturer should inform the students of the final exam

The method of holding, if there is any change in the way of assessment, the students must also be informed).

2. Input time for teachers' grades: 6/21-6/30.

3. Input time for teachers' late grades: 7/8-7/14.

Suspend for this semester:

1. Deadline: 6/21.

2. It is recommended that students fill out the power of attorney and the department will handle it on their behalf.

School leaving procedures and graduation certificate collection process:

◼Departure procedures: some have been changed online.

➢University Department (including daytime system, undergraduate courses, two-year on-the-job full-time courses): Apply online for leaving school.

➢ Master and doctoral students still need to come to the school for the leave application process due to the need to submit paper copies of the thesis.

◼How to receive graduation certificate:

➢ Mail to students by double registered post.

➢ If you have any special circumstances, please contact the Registration Section of the Academic Affairs Office.

Suggestions for experiments/topics or design/physical education courses:

1. When the experimental course cannot be implemented, it is recommended to change to the online video teaching method.

2. For thematic or design courses, it is recommended that the final exam can be submitted online or by submitting a special report + written briefing file.

3. For physical education courses, it is recommended to play sports-related videos, and give homework after explaining and asking questions about the content of the videos.

Make-up matters:

For courses suspended in the first week of distance learning (5/17-23) due to the inability to go online immediately, the instructor should make supplementary lessons online by 6/26 in the distance method.
