Emergency update of our school's epidemic prevention information on May 26, 2021

In response to the increasing of the epidemic, the school will reinforce epidemic prevention measures from May 26 (Wednesday), including; distance teaching is adopted for the entire school curriculum, people and vehicles outside the school are not allowed to enter the school except for official duties and related epidemic prevention regulations.

1. Comprehensive distance teaching to the end of the semester (6/26):

(1) Final exams, special topics, and experimental courses are conducted in accordance with the recommendations of the Office of Academic Affairs, in conjunction with epidemic prevention measures, and it is strictly forbidden to allow students to return to school for physical exams. Experimental courses: The principles of experimental courses are changed to online/distance teaching methods or other alternative teaching methods.

(2) The procedures of doctoral and master's thesis degree examination, final examination, school leaving procedures, and graduation certificate are in accordance with the announcement of the Office of Academic Affairs.

2. People outside the school and vehicles are not allowed to enter the school, the control method:

(1) Faculty and staff students must show their student certificates when entering and leaving the school. Those who have the school vehicle pass can pass directly.

(2) Those who enter the school for official business must present the supporting documents provided by the interviewed unit (such as meeting notices, invitation letters, emails, etc., both paper and electronic files). Those without supporting documents shall be sent by the interviewed unit to the control gate for confirmation You can enter the school only after you are standing.

(3) The school continues to implement staff on duty, temperature measurement, and QR Code real-name login footprints.

3. When entering public spaces on campus (including corridors...and other building spaces), you will wear a mask all the time.

4. The execution methods of various enrollment examination activities shall be subject to the announcement of the Office of Academic Affairs.

5. If all kinds of conference activities, including administrative units, colleges and departments, cannot be changed to online, please consider canceling or postponing the process.

6. Students are requested to avoid entering the campus and reduce going out in non-essential circumstances, and to abide by the epidemic prevention regulations together to reduce the risk of infection.

7. Student club activities will be immediately suspended or changed to online. Book return service: Books from May 17th (Monday) will be postponed to 9/22 (Wednesday) for return, and all books will be returned to the library during the epidemic prevention period. 

8. Regulations on campus safety management during the epidemic prevention period

1. During the epidemic prevention period, we should cooperate with the implementation of the central epidemic prevention policy to jointly maintain campus safety.

2. Those who do not wear a mask on campus and public places (including sports grounds and smoking areas) will be subject to the following punishments after taking photos to provide evidence:

(1) In accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 7 of the Regulations on Enforcement of Student Rewards and Punishments, "Those who disrupt the order of the group", students of this school will be deducted one to two minor demerits, and the combined punishment will be given four hours of school service.

(2) Faculty and staff who have repeatedly persuaded and refused to listen shall be reported in accordance with the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act, and sent to the Health Bureau in accordance with the "Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act" for a fine of 3,000 to 15,000 yuan.

3. The entrances of open-use classrooms, laboratories and studios should set up QR Codes to implement the actual linkage system, and strictly enforce the rule that the number of people in the same room should not exceed five. If there are more than five people in a group indoors or those who do not wear a mask, the following punishments will be imposed after taking photos to prove it:

(1) In accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 7 of the Regulations on Enforcement of Student Rewards and Punishments, "Those who disrupt the order of the group", students of this school will be deducted one to two minor demerits, and the combined punishment will be given four hours of school service.

(2) Announce classrooms, laboratories, and studios that have not implemented the epidemic prevention regulations, and will be forced to close, and no longer be open for use.

(3) Responsible units and personnel in classrooms, laboratories, and studios should actually publicize and implement relevant epidemic prevention regulations. If there is a violation of the regulations, the space management personnel shall impose a warning once.

4. Dormitory management:

(1) Dormitory students are not allowed to enter non-residential dormitories during their stay; avoid cross-dorm contact and communication; wear a mask when leaving the dormitory, and a fine of 3,000 yuan will be fined for those who violate the regulations.

(2) The dormitory will be closed on 6/28. Residents must empty the dormitory according to the current epidemic prevention level according to the following regulations:

• Epidemic prevention level 2: 6/28-7/2 according to the assigned date, return to school in batches and empty.

• Epidemic prevention level three: before 7/15, diverted to school and cleared according to regulations.

• Epidemic prevention level four: close the dormitory, wait until the epidemic prevention level drops, and then issue an announcement.

(3) Except for overseas students, summer dormitories are not open for accommodation. If the epidemic prevention level is lower than level 2, only those who need some courses can apply for summer accommodation in accordance with the regulations. Those who have paid the annual accommodation fee will be refunded according to the rate for the summer vacation accommodation fee.

(4) Accommodation during the summer vacation must strictly abide by the regulations during the epidemic prevention period, including: daily registration of body temperature, wearing a mask when leaving the dormitory, prohibiting communication in other dormitories, closing the saloon, etc. A consent form for accommodation and epidemic prevention regulations should be signed before moving in. Violation of the above regulations will be fined 3,000 yuan for one item.

5. During the epidemic prevention period, school security personnel will patrol the campus. The duty hours are based on 0800-1200, 1300-1700, and 1700-2100 for three time periods. They will patrol the campus once from time to time to investigate and deal with relevant violations.

6. Campus safety is the common responsibility of all levels of the school. In addition to school security personnel, all faculty and staff should also take the responsibility of joint supervision and management. If violations of regulations are found, they should immediately report evidence to the school security staff on duty. The campus emergency number is 0972590728.

9. From May 24th, our school restaurants will all take-out meals. Delivery meals are not allowed to enter the campus, and all meals will be taken at the school gate.

10. Each unit of this school adjusts the office method according to the business content attribute, arranges office work at home, off-site office, or office in batches, and shall provide a roster to the personnel office.

11. Various anti-epidemic measures will be adjusted at any time in accordance with the announcement of the central government. All faculty, staff and students are requested to cooperate with all anti-epidemic measures.

At the same time, I remind everyone that the current severe epidemic situation should wear masks, wash hands frequently, keep social distance with others, and pay attention to whether there are fever, respiratory symptoms, diarrhea, abnormal smell and taste and other suspected symptoms. If you have suspected symptoms, you should wear a medical mask and go to the nearby community hospital for medical treatment as soon as possible, and you should not take public transportation; when you go to the doctor, you should actively inform the contact history, travel history, occupational exposure and whether there are other things nearby. People have similar symptoms; they should also wear a medical mask after returning home to avoid going out.
