The teachers and students of the School of Architecture and Design of Chung Hua University, the School of Tourism, the School of Information and Electricity, and the School of Human Resources and Social Sciences, jointly implemented the 109-year University Social Responsibility (USR) practice program subsidized by the Ministry of Education, and extended the waters of the Xiaoli Creek in Xinpu to the university. The Dunshan Recreation Agriculture Zone is the service object. Through local visits and interviews, the four-faceted research topics of field, product, marketing and education are proposed, and product development and assistance to integrate small and scattered industrial joint marketing are proposed. The model enhances the attractiveness of tourism and leisure, and builds a more diverse cultural and ecological learning corridor system. The works exhibited at the results presentation include the web design and publicity of Dadunshan community, the space creation and cultural and creative product design of the old street in Xinpu Town, the research and development of local food and the testing of organic agricultural products, the research and creation of guided line bot robots, etc. , To fully demonstrate the fields and majors of the colleges of Chung Hua University. In order to continue to cultivate the local area, Chung Hua University rented a storefront next to the Xinpu Farmers' Association as a project resident workstation, thereby serving as a connection and disturbance base for the project during the operation of the project.

 

Lin Baolu, the mayor of Xinpu Township, said that each piece of work is a very unique display of Hakka culture. In particular, innovative products are more worthy of cooperation with stores, and Xinpu Hakka culture will be promoted more widely through products. Chen Xiangyuan, director of the Department of Industrial Product Design at Chung Hua University, mentioned that the Fuxiang cactus pattern designed by the students has been sold in stores. In the future, there will be a "Chunghua University" logo as one of the main products of the Chung Hua University brand.

 

He Mingjin, Dean of the School of Architecture and Design of Chung Hua University, said that to meet the needs of the industry, the preliminary plan for the reuse of the idle space of the old Ren'ai home where the Persimmon Dyeing Association is located has been completed. The outdoor space improvement design of the Landscape Department will organize the currently idle buildings into a backpack inn, a dyeing school and a community gourmet kitchen, which is expected to be the highlight of the 110 year plan.
