The Central Epidemic Command Center announced on November 18, 2020 that it will launch the "Autumn and Winter Epidemic Prevention Project" starting from December 1, 2020.

All inbound and transit passengers must attach a COVID-19 nucleic acid test negative report within 3 days before boarding From December 1st to February 28th 2021, passengers entering or transiting through airports in China, regardless of their status (persons of nationality or foreign nationality, etc.) or purpose of coming to Taiwan (study, Work, diplomatic service, etc.) must be attached with the "Negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test report within 3 days (working days) before the scheduled boarding time" before boarding and coming to Taiwan, and the Ministry of Transportation will supervise each airline check.
