About Chung Hua
With high-tech computer labs and executive classrooms, CHU students have some of the best and newest technology at their fingertips. Our modern facilities include the multimedia classrooms, computer centre with free internet access, library, arts centre, counseling centre, health centre, housing service and two cafeterias. Athletic and recreational services are excellent at CHU. You can enjoy individual sports such as swimming or yoga, or drop in to play team sports such as baseball and basketball. There are indoor tennis court and swimming pool, and a fitness centre with aerobics classes and weight training equipment.
Academics and Faculty
CHU currently offers 6 colleges and 22 departments, which provides 29 undergraduate programs, 16 MS programs and 3 PhD programs.
CHU‘s faculty consists of highly qualified and accredited teachers. Most lecturers are graduates of prestigious institutions of higher learning in USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Japan and etc.
Cultural Activities and Events
CHU also holds cultural activities occasionally to provide the opportunities for international students to know more about Chinese culture and society, including Dragon Boat Festival, Chinese New Year Festival, Moon Festival , cultural excursions, and field trips and local sightseeing.
Cost of Study
Tuition costs will vary from departments and colleges. Undergraduate and Graduate students will also have different tuition costs. Currently, undergraduate students pay approximately US$1,498 to US$1,785 per semester for tuition fees. For graduate students, the tuition fees are about US$1,365 to US$1,575. Books and supplies cost are excluded, which are about US$110-180
The first option costs NT$15,600 (4-bed room with bath) per person per semester (included the winter or summer vacation).
The first option costs NT$10,600 (6-bed room without bath) per person per semester (including the winter or summer vacation).
All plus with NTD1000 for deposit.

If you would like to live off-campus in the local area near Chung Hua, you would notice that there are many ads all the way around Wu-Fu Road. You can make arrangements directly with landlords in the private sector.
＊＊For international students who wish to work in Taiwan (either on campus or off campus), you are required to apply for and obtain the work permit before starting work. Please note that if you hold a job without applying for the work permit, you may be fined for NT$30,000 to NT$150,000, revoke the permit, and must leave immediately.
